This is a 3 day course explaining how the MSP programme management methodology operates and concludes with a 40 minute 50 multiple choice exam question paper.

The course will describe the principles, governance themes and transformational process flows of the MSP programme management methodology.

Delegates will learn through instructor led presentation, exercises and quizzes.

Course Aim

By attending this course participants will be able to:

  • Describe and apply the transformational processes flows of MSP
  • Utilise the MSP methodology to support the implementation of strategic objectives
  • Establish an effective governance model for management of the programme and its projects
  • Establish mechanisms to manage the programme’s quality, cost and progress performance targets and control programme risks & issues
  • Identify techniques to appropriately engage programme stakeholders
  • Identify, track and drive realisation of anticipated benefits through techniques such as benefits mapping and benefits realisation planning
  • Explain how to justify the start up and continuation of a programme
  • Design & deliver a blueprint demonstrating the required business change
  • Explain how to effectively control the execution and closure of a programme
  • Explain the key roles and responsibilities in a programme

Exam: The MSP Foundation exam is a 40 minute 50 multiple choice question paper. Delegates must achieve a minimum mark of 30 or 60% to pass.
